Ignite is a 6 week, Spotless-wide innovation crowdsourcing challenge where we call on our 36,000 people to submit their great ideas for ways to grow our business and delight our customers. The top teams are taken through a 3-day innovation program to develop their ideas and pitch to a panel of judges at a Finale Pitch Event for a chance to win a cash prize, a bespoke innovation experience tailored to the team's needs and funding and support to implement their idea within Spotless.

Spotless have partnered with Startupbootcamp in their Smart Energy Accelerator program. The program is designed to accelerate a startup's growth by 12-18 months in only 3 months. We’ll help to select startups that we want to work with and mentor them throughout the program to help shape their offering and hopefully result in some solutions that canadd real value to Spotless.

We recently launched a new metering model, Spotless Advanced Metering (SAM), to help the utilities sector respond to changing regulatory, technological and digital data environments. SAM delivers a simple, efficient, scalable, whole-of-life metering proposition, which is delivered by a single contract, interface and fee.

Managing traditional standpipes has been a long term concern to water businesses across Australia. Our Skilltech SmartpipeTM is a fully managed hydrant access service with patented in-built technology. The cloud-connected, portable water pump remotely monitors water usage from council and water corporation hydrants in real time, making billing and verification more accurate and addressing the problems of unaccounted water usage.

A custom-developed metering application that s ends and receives information to and from field workers in real-time.

It includes a portal to allocate, schedule and audit work, with the ability to receive and send client data files.

a Cloud based asset database, that together with A mobile app, allows users to capture, classify and catalogue images to describe their assets.

The Tersano lotus PRO unit creates Stabilized, Aqueous Ozone (SAO) that can be used to replace traditional chemical cleaners, deodorisers and sanitisers. It is 100% chemical free, non-irritant, environmentally friendly and approved/certified by a number of organisations (Green Seal, HACCP etc.)

SmartBins monitor fill levels and generate optimal waste collection routes. Solar/AC or Hybrid options are available so suitable for indoors/outdoors. Bins also compact waste and have 8x capacity of standard wheelie bins. Ability to brand as desired and can be used as a Wi-Fi hotspots.}

The Glutton is an energy and environmentally efficient indoor and outdoor vacuum. It has a 12 hour run time that is quiet and does not emit emissions. 

Through small pluggable devices, consumer analytics solutions can capture the number of people walking through a site. If Wi-Fi is turned on the device (does not need to be connected), then we will be able to accurately track “typical paths” and become aware of abnormal activity.

We are creating computer-generated (virtual) or 360-degree filmed replications of sites to use as  training environments. Our people will be able to experience these spaces through VR headsets and identify potential hazards along the way. It will be an interactive way to learn new skills inidentify hazards.

The BIO-EZ 750 is a self-contained, continual feed, organic waste disposal system designed to biologically convert solid food waste materials into liquid. It decomposes food waste into a nutrient rich liquid that is odour free, and is safely disposed of through wastewater treatment systems.

3D food printing is an evolving technology whereby viscous liquid ingredients (chocolate, dough, purees etc) are printed in layers to form 3 dimensional objects.  For our Epicure venues there the potential to create memorable dining experiences for our customers by creating customised 'plate tattooos'. 

We offer food and drink ordering apps at a number of our locations for time-pressed customers. Customers can order and pay for goods on their mobile and pick them up when they are ready.

The Nudge Challenge is a digital health and wellbeing game, run over 4 weeks, that is designed to give players motivation to make healthy lifestyle choices. The challenge will form part of the broader Nudge Health and Lifestyle program.
